There still is no perfect proof that we live in a hologram and you and I and everyone are like illusions, but some number work out amazingly well.

It is not an odd question for me.  The exploration of "Detris, jellow light" is similar in the dread of a person or place that feels like a phantasm or even appears to be faded from vision a bit.  Or how zombie like people can lack some internal information that makes them seem odd, though human.
