Comparisons!

I am back to a study of poets and poetry on the past and how poets ever achieved any popularity.  Shakesphere got big partially because of a cult like status and remaining a celebrity even after death?!
Yet understanding Shakespeare's writing today is beyond most people.  Something like a literary Jerry Garia.  A trip into the stange hip universe of a creative force who becomes a kind of little Jesus!
