Admittedly.

Poetry from way back might not interest the average person today so I am not about to ask for increased interest in the works of the past except Homer, Shakespeare and a few others.  What interests me is that people feel that it is acceptable and healthy to write poetry.  Also that a few useful tools to writing poetry could be shared.  A world where poetry is cool without it having to be slam poetry or hip hop poetry.  A world where publishers create beautiful anthologies of the works of "Ordinary People" and less focus on the "Great White Poets"  Mmm...
