Already a lot of people coming to this poetry blog today. I can promise you that giving poetry a chance will not cause you to be weird or if you fear homosexuality it won't do that either. In fact poetry rocks more than you know.
You see it is not easy to understand poetry and there are books and classes to take to make it easier to read. A good poem usually can be meditated on. The messages may be more complex than they seem. The ideas may be more profound that what is found in a quote or a novel. If it is indeed a good poem at least read it twice.
