Did the universe begin if we know it is going to end?

According to my mythology the universe did begin but not with an explosive bang.  It began on a a musical note is my mythology. It began as a strange sound.  What occurs from that sound was creation and logic doesn't exactly apply.  I have some conviction that the universe we are is the creative force, like the sudden spreading of plant life.
