You take the totall amount of human bodies on the planet and the relative loss of brain matter due to modern life and you have smaller brain mass than you do the rest of the bodies. This would lead torwards predatory brain snatchers since some people notice their lack of balence and wish a form of wealth distribution. This causes the human being to have a desire to use what ever methods (Often creepy ones) to suck at the minds of others. This is what zombie does, just like any parisite.
