We can mistake contempt for what it really often is which is hate.  American arrogance is to fight against others we dislike as we look down on them for their weakness's.  An American can be the most disgusting thing, but I am thankful that I know a few, who are in my life who aren't as sick as this.  At least twenty, which is up a lot from twenty years ago where virtualy everyone had too much evil in them. Obama has none.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;McCain has changed his slogan no less than 4 times during the campaign.  Obama&amp;#39;s message has stayed consistent. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time, including THE MIND BOGGLING attempt to CHANGE OUR CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS.  McCain was one of the primary writers of the Patriot Act and the ammendment to abolish Habeas Corpus.  McCain&amp;#39;s bill was disputed by Senator Obama who took it before the Supreme Court. Our political system is a bit broken, but it still is a democracy compared with Russia.  Americans also are learning, we may stumble, but basically we want what anyone wants for the planet.
